Here are the top 10 questions we most frequently hear from clients as they're getting started with their Doximity Talent Finder subscription.
1. How many clinician members are on Doximity? How many are physicians?
Doximity has over 2 million medical professional members, over 80% of U.S. physicians, and over 60% of APP providers (NPs, PAs, CRNAs) across every specialty and location are members, making Doximity the fastest adopted product by physicians of all time after the iPhone. Additionally, over 90% of graduating medical students join Doximity to use tools including Residency Navigator before earning their doctoral degree.
At its base, Doximity is the first national directory of all practicing physicians. Therefore, all US physicians with an MD or DO degree will return in search results. While all United States physicians are searchable in the Doximity directory, you are only able to send DocMail messages to verified Doximity members. Non-members have yet to claim their Doximity profile.
2. What's the difference between a Job and a Job Post?
The term "Job" refers to the Job templates you create from your Jobs page. Job templates must be created in order to send DocMails and publish Job Posts. The term "Job Post" refers to an actively published Job in one of your purchased Job Post slots.
3. How many Jobs can I create?
You can create and save an unlimited number of Jobs. You are, however, limited in the number of Job Posts you can publish at once based on your subscription. You can see the available number of Job Posts for your account from a Job template, and monitor your Job Posts from your Active Job Posts page and Job Post Report page.
4. Where do physicians see my Job Posts, and what exactly do they see?
Doximity physicians engage with Job Posts throughout the platform, including the website, mobile applications, and email. Physicians can also search through Job Posts that interest them from the Doximity Careers section of the site. In this way, your Job Posts reach both actively seeking and passive candidate populations.
5. What's a DocMail?
DocMails are the messages sent to clinicians on Talent Finder. DocMails are delivered to clinicians’ verified email addresses and native Doximity Inboxes through the website and mobile applications.

6. How many DocMails can I send, and where can I keep track of them?
Your account is credited a specific number of DocMails per month based on your subscription terms. The DocMail messages are shared by the team, not assigned by user.
Use your Reports page to monitor your DocMail availability and usage and access more in-depth downloadable activity reports. The “DocMails” tab under the “Reports” page provides a downloadable report and a running log of your DocMails.
7. Why should I create Lists?
Lists will help you organize your physician candidate searches on Talent Finder. Current clients find Lists useful for: grouping physicians by specific candidate searches in progress (e.g. “Hospitalist - San Mateo, CA - 4/7/16”), tagging current or past employees (e.g. “Current San Mateo Hospital employee”), capturing contacts met at meetings and events (e.g. “Met at ACP conference”), and even calling out who not to contact (e.g. “Do Not Contact”).

8. What are Profile Notes?
Profile Notes allow you to save notes on your candidate impressions or interactions for future reference by you or any member of your team.
9. What's the DocMail "Click-Through Guarantee"?
DocMails sent with Job Templates that designate an “Estimated Compensation” are eligible for the DocMail Click-Through Guarantee. If a physician doesn’t click within a DocMail to view the full attached Job Template details within 10 days from the initial send date, then the client will receive an additional DocMail credit. This is only valid when “Estimated Compensation” is designated within the attached Job Template. If this field is left blank the client will not receive the additional credit.
You can include Estimated Compensation by adding via your job template:
Note: By adding compensation details, clinicians will see this range when they receive a DocMail and if you publish this job to the Doximity Network.
10. Is there a Doximity Talent Finder mobile app?
We do not currently have a Talent Finder mobile app. However, the website is mobile-friendly, and you can log in via your cell phone's web browser.
