Your inbox is where you will receive all responses to your DocMails and messages from any clinicians interested in your jobs.
For Job Post Applies: You can reply to the candidate using the direct contact info they provided, as well as reply via your Doximity inbox. We recommend doing both so that the candidate knows that you will be following up directly. Replying via Doximity is also a great way to do additional follow-ups if you haven't been able to get in touch with the candidate.
For DocMail Responses: Candidates often reply via the Doximity inbox because it is a quick and easy way to get back to you. Once the candidate has responded, you can message back and forth as often as you'd like, without using an additional DocMail message. Similar to the job postings, asking for their contact info or if they shared theirs, letting them know how you will be getting in touch is a great way to make sure your first connection about the opportunity is a warm one.
A few other tips:
- Reply as soon as possible
- Follow up more than once if you don't get a response - we recommend 2-3 follow-ups before you let them know they can reach out if they are still interested
- If they aren't interested, reply and always ask for a referral!
