What is Simplified Job Refresh?
Jobs that are posted on the Doximity network will expire 90-180 days after it is published unless they are updated (this does not apply to clients who have purchased our job import product). If the job offers visa support, it will expire in 180 days. If the job does not offer visa support, it will expire in 90 days.
Why Do Jobs Have an Expiration Date?
- Guarantees only active, open jobs are being shown to clinicians
- Refreshed or recently updated jobs have higher engagement on Doximity
How Does It Work?
Once you post your job, your job will stay active for 90-180 days. You will see a new column on the Jobs page that indicates when a job will expire. You can make an update to your job at any time to reset the expiration date to 90-180 days.
Additionally, we will email you once a week with a comprehensive list of your jobs that are expiring in the next two (2) weeks.
When you click the Update Job Button within the email (or from your job page in Talent Finder), you will be sent to the “Update Job” page in Talent Finder where you will need to make at least 1 change to your job for it to refresh. You can change your Job Post Title, Targets, Internal Title or Description and then click “Save and Update”

Once you “Save and Update” the clock on your job will be reset and you will receive the reminders again starting 2 weeks before the job expires.
Updating Posting Best Practices:
We recommend updating your Job Post Title to incorporate new, fresh keywords that will potentially catch more potential candidates to your opportunities. View our Job Post Title Best Practices, here.
Additionally, you can also make any small edits to your job description, add or remove target specialties, update location or compensation, or if you are comfortable with your posting as is, change the internal title to reflect which update version you are on (example: Doximity Family Physician Position - v.1)
